I’ve always been drawn to learning about people and hearing their stories. I consider it an honor when someone trusts me with their experiences, especially the parts that are hard to talk about.
In counseling, I work collaboratively with each person to set clear, practical goals and take concrete steps toward them. My approach is primarily cognitive-behavioral, complemented by solution-focused strategies, so we can work efficiently toward meaningful change.
I prioritize privacy, respect your values, and help you clarify what you want from life so the change you make on the inside can lead to meaningful results on the outside.

I provide counseling throughout Florida via secure video or phone sessions, making it easy to connect from wherever you feel most comfortable. For clients I see regularly, I also offer secure messaging Monday through Friday, so you can share questions or concerns as they arise instead of waiting until our next session. Most therapists don’t provide this type of ongoing support, and I find it helps us stay connected, address challenges in real time, and keep our focus on the goals that matter most to you.

Guiding Principles to Change
My goal when someone comes to counseling is to help them find solutions to the challenges that may be keeping them from living their fullest life. I take a holistic approach, working collaboratively to identify the areas of life that will have the greatest impact on reaching their goals. Sometimes this means providing a safe space for therapeutic listening; other times it involves gently challenging long-held beliefs or thought patterns that may no longer serve them. I view my role much like the Johari Window: helping clients uncover the parts of themselves that they may not see, while also exploring the aspects of their life that others notice but they may be unaware of. We also focus on recognizing past successes and core values, which often provide the foundation for growth and meaningful change.

What sets my practice apart is the combination of collaboration, practical strategies, and ongoing support. I work to balance a kind, empathetic approach with the willingness to challenge clients when it’s necessary to uncover blind spots or shift perspectives. Many of my clients, including fellow counselors, appreciate this blend of understanding and expertise. Additionally, I provide secure telehealth sessions and offer messaging between sessions for clients I see regularly—an approach I’ve used since 2017 that helps clients address challenges in real time, stay on track with their goals, and achieve meaningful results more efficiently.
